My wife and I found this local eatery tucked in historic Carlisle, PA. We were immediately met with a friendly smile, paired with thorough explanations of items available on the delicious menu. I was very happy with my chicken parm panini...bread baked to perfection with a just the right amount of crispiness and a touch of olive oil which complemented the overall flavor. The Mrs opted for a meatball sub with homemade meatballs and a wonderful red sauce. We were too full to enjoy one of the Italian sweets, but the gentleman behind the counter offered us a taste of the gelato...I highly recommend the salted caramel! We are certainly excited to return and sample other options... including the Arch of Happiness dessert which is only available Thursday through Saturday. And the price is on par with what you might expect for a privately owned and operated business. Thanks for a great dinner experience!!!

5-stars for this local gem! I’ve visited many times but I’m finally ready to let the rest of the world know how excellent they are. Hands-down my favorite Italian sub in Central PA. Imported Italian ham, soppressata salami, prosciutto, provolone cheese, burrata cheese, mixed greens, tomato, onion, basil pesto, mayo - it doesn’t get any more Italian or perfect for me. Tonight I also added a slice of pepperoni pizza and salted caramel gelato (they make their own and it’s perfection). My favorite pizza is by far the Prosciutto e Burrata, but I’m sure they’re all fantastic. Even their lasagna is noteworthy. Seating inside is pretty much non-existent, but dining outside during the nicer days is so excellent if you love people watching! Staff has always been welcoming, warm, and hardworking. This is where I go when I want to treat myself, I recommend everyone else doing the same!

We had take out my husband and I got pizza and wings. They were both delicious. We got a supreme pizza and BBQ hot honey wings. By far the pizza is the best in Shippensburg and the wings were a solid 8. I am from out side of New Haven Connecticut the pizza capitol of the USA and I tried every pizza spot and this place is a 10 can't wait to try another pie

the food here is amazing and i will be back here every week for the rest of my life. 10/10. the atmosphere is so cozy and there is great outdoor seating. the customer service is so amazing and feels like home! UPDATE: one year later, and i still come here very often!! my favorites are the italian sub, meatball sub, pesto chicken pizza (!!!), and all desserts. the arch of happiness is true to its name and is my favorite thing ever. the staff is always so kind and i only have good things to say! 100000/10 would reccomend!

Absolutely recommend this place!!! The margaritas pizza was so gorgeous and delicious, cant go wrong with this classic choice. The staff here was so nice and very efficient! 10/10 recommend if your looking for some great Italian food!

We've been eyeing up this pizza joint for a while, and finally took the plung. Placing an order very early in the day to ensure we would have dinner for pick up. A very small shop with a few seats inside; when the weather is warm the outside seating should be nice. A small selection of canned drinks, a pastry cabinet that was almost empty, and a small gelato bar. As a pair that has had pizza over in Italy before we were ready to be on Italian time, and not American. We watched as owner made other pizza on the back table and moved them to the ovens. Waiting for our order of Salsiccia Pizza and Tomato Basil Arancine. Taking our order back home, we happily opened up the arancini first. I would have made this my meal alone, but I was sharing. Very fresh, good cheese, and the sauce had just the right tang. The pizza has a thin crust. Sausage we can tell is homemade, very smooth and not too peppery ( which I personally enjoy). The sweet peppers, are definitely sweet, soft, but overall enhanced the sauce that was on the pizza. Enjoyed slowly to savor each bite. Molto Bene. We forgot to order dessert!! Oh, what a place and time to forget a wallet. We will have to come back to try one of the many items for selection :) Update: We did try some more! The arch of happiness loves up to the name. Smooth, crispy, and strawberries just the right amount of sweet and tart. The Penne Vodka, creamy, smokey, and perfectly paired with the bruschetta.

Best Pizza I've ever had. Perfect light crisp to the underside of the crust and the sauce / seasoning was phenomenal. It's not trying to be an over the top show piece; just fundamentals perfected.

Recently had the margherita pizza, which was delicious! The pesto sauce was an unexpected delightful addition. They really don't really have indoor dining other than a few stools, but for takeout, I'd unwaveringly recommend!
